STAY RIGHT, PASS LEFT

Please stay to the right side of the trail. When necessary, pass on the left of the person in front of you.

SOUND OFF, LISTEN UP

Announce yourself when you approach another trail user. Keep your left ear free of ear buds. Pay attention and be aware of others.

KEEP IT MOVING

Avoid stopping in the middle of the trail. Runners and walkers should be in pairs, side by side. Cyclists should ride single file.

SLOW YOUR ROLL

Please observe slow zones and decrease speed when advised.

WHEELS ALWAYS YIELD

If you’re riding on wheels of any kind, you must yield to users who are not on wheels. This includes bicycles, scooters, rollerblades,
and skateboards.

DOGGONE IT, MIND YOUR PETS

Keep animals on a short leash and don’t forget to scoop the poop.

KEEP YOUR GIDDYUP ON THE GRASS

Horses ride on the grass, not on the trail.

Share the Trail is a public awareness campaign designed to help all trail users learn the rules of the trail and enjoy the Trinity Trail system safely.

The campaign is a partnership of the City of Fort Worth Park and Recreation Department, Streams & Valleys and the Tarrant Regional Water District.
It was funded by a grant from Mayfest.
